Sjubileum 2007
To round off the 4 days jazz festival in the center of Utrecht at the 30
years anniversary of the Sju jazz podium in this town, there was a performance
of the play Pleinvrees [Agoraphobia]. This is a composition of
Onno van Swigchem and Hermine Schneider, especially composed for this occasion.
It was played by about 100 musicians and conducted from a tower wagon.
Before this performance, there were workshops for the different instrument
groups on the same day. The workshops were given by Oene van Geel, Tjitze
Vogel, Wouter Hakhof, Marc van Vught, Stormvogel, Panc Daalder and Joost
Dieho.
