A highly respected and award-winning saxophonist,
percussionist, composer, arranger and bandleader, Onno van Swigchem
has been providing workshops in a whole range of musical styles
for many years, both in the Netherlands and abroad, as well as
playing jazz and world music in several internationally successful
groups. With his contagious enthusiasm and charismatic persona,
Onno is able to lift any group to a higher musical plane, his inimitable
style combining natural leadership and clear communication with
a unique ability to transmit the sheer thrill of making music together.
Hermine Schneider
Multi-talented multi-instrumentalist, composer
and filmmaker Hermine Schneider has a wealth of experience leading
groups of all sizes and levels in percussion, jazz and improvisation
workshops. Alongside a successful career playing trumpet, tuba and
percussion in a number of leading bands, she has also directed and
appeared in a variety of national and international musical theatre
productions and films. Her fascination with the acoustic and visual
properties of water led her to create the highly acclaimed film Waterproof,
which was nominated for the NPS New Arrivals Prize. With Drums and
Barrels, Hermine applies her film production skills in producing
DVDs as lasting reminders for workshop participants.
Caroline Koldeweij
After graduating in art history and building up experience
at a recruitment agency, Caroline Koldeweij studied policy and management
before going on to work as an artistic advisor to a wide range of businesses
and other organisations. With over 15 years of experience as a project
manager, fundraiser, organiser and commercial director, she has organised
countless workshops, seminars, conferences, concerts, festivals and
other events. Combining a passion for art and culture with a cool business
head, Caroline is perfectly equipped to anticipate your requirements
